Raising Westies is a hobby for us. My husband and I are fortunate enough to work out of our home (he’s a Geographer/Computer Scientist and I have been a Business owner)  plus we are both Entrepreneurs and able to spend the much needed time with the 2-legged and 4-legged kids.

Our first Show prospect (Lacey Lady) came from Beth McCutcheon at Wee-Hy-Lynn. Beth worked with Roz Dunne from Charosmack Westies whose beautiful Westie kids won Crufts! We were very excited to adopt Lacey. At the same time, Dee Hannah from D&D Kennels had a male Show prospect ready for us(Brave Heart Bentley). Dee has been a Westie enthusiast, breeder and Professional Show Handler for 45 years.

We are members of the Danish-Swedish Farmdogs USA to help promote and preserve all 4-legged friends as versatile, working dogs. We are presenting the Wendy Volhard’s Puppy Aptitude Test (Temperament Testing) via Webinar and hope to eventually present Wendy’s testing in live Seminars.

We are also Executive Members of the Island Dog Club and Volunteers for the amazing Westie Rescue, Westies In Need. Please join us for next year’s 2012 Prince Edward Island Westie Walk . It’s a fun way to raise money for the fantastic group, Westies In Need.
